Another benefit of working with us, is you will have access to our trade discounts! The savings vary depending on the supplier, but we’re committed to passing along those perks whenever possible. What is the difference between an interior decorator, stylist and designer?
While interior decorating refers to furnishing a place with ornamental materials to achieve a certain aesthetic, interior design is the art and science of comprehending people's behaviour to create usable spaces within a building. To put it simply, interior designers can decorate, but decorators don’t design.
Also, interior decorators don't need any formal degree or qualification, while interior designers are typically expected to have a higher level of education because of the complexity of their job. What are your qualifications?Jackie has a Diploma of Interior Design & Decoration from the International School of Colour & Design ensuring a solid foundation for delivering exceptional design solutions.
